Summer Internship with Shoulder to Shoulder México

A volunteer internship at Shoulder to Shoulder México allows those who are exploring ministry opportunities to get a deeper experience in missions and a better understanding of what it means to serve God and others full time.

  • Live in community with people from different places

Shoulder to Shoulder Mexico is a ministry committed to planting, strengthening and equipping the local church in Mexico.  We work with churches of different denominations in the region helping them grow and impact their communities for Jesus Christ.

  • and a variety of other ministry activities.

Interns will be involved in all aspects of mission team activities and care from planning, logistics, food prep and clean up to translation, construction, team leader, and tour guide.

There will also be times of missions training and bible study especially for interns.  Also various fun intern escapes, adventures and activities will be squeezed in around the busy summer.

We are already praying for each intern who will form a part of STS this summer and we are excited to see what God will do in the lives of each of us as we work together for Him!

Read what past interns are saying about their experience at STS.

"Through the summer volunteering as a translator I was constantly being put out of my comfort zone with people. It’s been amazing to see God grow my comfort in speaking to others and confidence in myself"

"I loved being able to see firsthand the teams work with the local church. It was cool seeing two languages, two cultures and two styles of worship coming together under the banner of unity in the love of Christ"

Being an intern this summer has been an amazing experience. I loved getting to know people and building relationships with them. Bringing the joy of Christ to the people of México is one of the most rewarding parts of working with STS"
